We Hit 5 Pounds!

This morning Redding was a total rock star in the eating department. He was awake and took a bottle from the nurse at the 6 a.m. feeding, so the nurse wasn't sure he'd eat for me at 9 a.m. Well, he did, he latched better than ever and ate for a good 45 minutes with just 2 short burp breaks.

Then we got the great news that he hit 5 lbs. even last night. Way to grow, little man!

If he'll consistently do 2 feedings in a row by mouth, he can get his NG tube taken out. Then he can stop pulling it out. And he'll be on the fast track to going home. Wahoo!
