Greeblepix Contest March 2009
I read several blogs on a regular basis, one of which is greeblemonkey. Each month she has a picture contest. I have never entered. But this month the theme is lucky shots. As soon as I read it, I thought about this shot I got while we were on vacation last Summer. It is Annabella in full wetsuit (Thanks Uncle Jim!) in front of the cement ship at Seacliff Beach in Aptos, CA. Why is it lucky? She's in mid-air. Love this shot.

That's an AMAZING photo Dawn! How did you manage to pull off such a crisp action shot like that?! Ahhh, Aptos... gotta love that derelict ship at the dock.
[It was just luck, just as the contest stipulated. I was just using my regular old Canon digital, nothing special. OK, wait, it's very special, but it didn't have anything to do with me or the camera. Auto-focus, auto-flash. It was pure MAGIC. -D]
